Welcome to the
Music and Parental Wellbeing
Research Network

We are delighted to announce the launch of the Music and Parental Wellbeing Research Network funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) and hosted by the Royal College of Music London and City, University of London. The Network is the first of its kind to foster novel, international, and inter-disciplinary collaborations to explore the role of music in supporting parental wellbeing.

*Please note that when we use the words "parent" or "parental" we always mean those with responsibility for caring for children. This includes, for example, biological parents, adopters, foster carers, kinship carers, single parents, same-sex couples, and others. Where individual research publications or examples of practice refer to a particular group of parents, for example, mothers, we use these terms. As always, language and terminology are developing rapidly and we aim to be as inclusive as possible.
